Agent Coordination Unix-Style
Why it earned a slot
Richard MacManus frames the Anthropic workshop in Daily Context through a Unix/Linux organization analogy: as more agents contribute work, coordination and review can become the bottleneck. The useful idea is delegation with explicit responsibilities and a review stage, rather than treating Unix-style as a documented pipe-based implementation.
For an agent workflow I'd test narrow task inputs and outputs, a coordinator that combines results, and a separate review pass. Compare task success, token cost and review effort with a single-agent baseline before adding more agents. Those are design choices to evaluate, not demonstrated production-scale or maintainability improvements.
